Give us a price range. Otherwise, we might be suggesting a Hasselblad, which costs more than most cars! http://www.adorama.com/HSCF39MSH2K.html?searchinfo=hasselblad&item_no=11 In the under $5000 range, I’d recommend the Nikon D3. http://www.adorama.com/INKD3.html?searchinfo=Nikon%20D3&item_no=2 Under $2000? Nikon D300. http://www.adorama.com/INKD300.html?searchinfo=D300&item_no=10 Under $1000? Nikon D80. That’s it for my DSLR recommendations. Of course, there are models between and len requirements change the equation. If you’re wondering why my DSLR leanings are towards Nikon, I’m not the only one. You might find these ratings interesting in the different digital camera ratings.

as there is more resistance when in four wheel drive, your fuel economy will go down by between 25-45%, depending on your driving style, the terrain you are on and weight of the vehicle at the time. the drive train on a 4×4 is usually split 60/40 when in four wheel drive, giving more drive to the rear wheels until one loses traction, then the computer will alter the split and reduce power to the spinning wheel and increase it to the ones with grip. due to the four wheel drive providing extra power to the wheels is why your fuel consumption increases.also prolonged on road driving in four wheel drive causes transmission wind up,which is over tightening of the syncro mesh.to remedy this you have to reverse for a period to release the tension. prolonged use on the road can also affect the diff. lock opperation, which is expensive to remedy.
